Frequently Asked Questions

How can I pay?

We accept major credit cards. If you wish to pay via PayPal or bank transfer, please contact our Student Support team.

How many classes can I buy?

After your free trial, you may purchase modules of 10, 30, 60 or 90 hours. If you would like to purchase a module of 100 hours or more, please contact our Student Support team.

If I want to stop taking classes once I’ve finished my module, do I need to pay any extra fees?

No way! Whenever you finish your module you paid for, it’s up to you whether you want to buy more or not. Iboux does not charge any automatic or recurring payments.

Do I have to complete the module of classes I’ve purchased within a certain time period?

Luckily, you don’t! Classes don’t have an expiration date. For example, if you buy a module of 10 classes, you may complete these 10 hours within a week or within a year. We will work on your schedule. You may even take a break from classes and take your remaining hours some other time.

I’ve already decided I’m going to study with Iboux, do I have to take the free class trial?

Yes. Although our videoconferencing technology has minimal computer and speed connection requirements, we use the free class trial to ensure everything works properly to guarantee hassle-free classes. Also, if you’ve studied the language in the past, we use the class trial to determine your learning level and language needs to customize a curriculum to fit your requirements.

I’ve already studied/have previous knowledge of English… How will you evaluate my current level?

We use the free class trial to determine your current English language level. During the trial, we’ll also discuss your specific learning goals in order to customize classes to address your needs. And if you’ve never studied English before, don’t worry! We’ll start your language classes at the beginning of Level 1.

Who will be my teacher and how will I schedule my classes?

Once you have registered, you will be assigned 3 to 5 teachers from our team, whose profiles coincide with your learning needs and goals (which we will have evaluated during the trial class). You will have access to their calendars and will always be able to schedule classes using our platform, with at least 24 hours in advance.

If you decide to have class with more than one teacher, don ́t worry: your teachers will have access to all of your academic information, including a detailed record of what you have done class by class, which allows us to guarantee a pedagogical continuity during your classes.

Additionally, your teacher will always follow the lesson plan that will have been created by our Instructional Design team, especially for you, at the beginning of the course, based on your specific needs and goals.
